Here's a tiny bit about me (for now):

Since I'll be learning about you...

It's me, the weird girl behind the camera, who almost always cries because I love my couples so deeply. It's true. I'm known to cry at weddings. I'm an embarrassment.

After 3 years as a first grade teacher, I took a leap of faith and transitioned into a full-time photographer and I haven't looked back since.

I eat too much Chickfila, and you can always catch me quoting The Office at any given minute. So be ready. Lastly, I have 2 littles and a husband at home that are my entire world.

Photographing weddings is more to me than just that day, it's a lifetime. A lifetime of images that you get to print and frame to be hung across the walls of your home. A lifetime of memories that you get to look back on and never forget. But also, it's a lifetime of friendship between you and I. One where I'm able to not only document that day you marry the love of your life, but your future milestones as well...the ones where you move into your first home, where you welcome your first child into the world. The reason I do what I do is because I value the relationships created through photography. I don't do this just because it's a good time (and trust me, they are), I do this because I want to be able to call you more than just one of you "clients," I want to be able to call you my friend.

Yes, this is one of the biggest decisions of your life...

So of course you should be absolutely sure you find the right person to photograph your wedding. You need someone that you can trust to capture every single moment throughout the day, but you also need someone who will have your back whenever you need it. That's what I'm here for! I'm never too far away from you, making sure to capture all of your wedding day's little moments and big celebrations: your dad with a cheesy smile on his face when he sees you for the first time, your mom fighting tears as she buttons up your dress, your grandma as she embraces you when she sees that you're wearing her necklace, your groom when his face lights up as you walk down the aisle. These moments matter, and I'll be right there to capture them. However, let's be real... your wedding day is not all pictures. There is so much more that goes on throughout the day, and I'll be there for that too: making sure you get your chicken nuggets from the kitchen so you don't miss lunch, searching for grandma whenever she wanders away from our family formals, reassuring you that everything is perfect when you start to feel overwhelmed. I'm here for it all, through every feeling, every event, and every emotion.

I may not be the right person for everyone,

but I hope I'm that right person for you.
